How did you begin your career in tech?

My curiosity helped me to break into the tech industry. Living in the Bay Area, I wanted to see what the buzz was all about. Most of my Human Resource experience came from CPGs and food industries but I knew that my skills would carry over to tech. I was able to find an opportunity with the People team at Uber right as they were growing exponentially and it was a great ride. At CI&T, I am enjoying tech growth again, as well as the best employee culture I have seen so far.

Who inspires you and why?

Along my journey, I have worked with many leaders and employees from different backgrounds that have inspired me. They took the time to connect and share their knowledge, network, and insights. I now do the same thing with people starting their careers.

What advice would you give a woman entering the tech industry?

- Be yourself!
- Learn as much as you can from your team, your leaders, and the business.
- Build a network that will support you when challenges arise.
- Help others in their journey.
- Don’t doubt yourself.
- Speak up!
- Take care of yourself.

How do you thrive at CI&T?

CI&T has a very progressive way of doing things. Thriving at CI&T is all about collaborating and enabling CI&Ters to work together across regions in order to better serve our clients.
