Project Manager, Portugal

General Description
As CI&T, a global business solutions company expands its European presence in Portugal, we are looking for a Project Manager to be part of our team in Lisbon. In this position, you will lead Scrum teams and will work closely with teams in the EU Zone, UK, USA, Japan, and Brazil. You need advanced and/or fluent proficiency in English to communicate with these different teams during the workday.

The main focus is on team leadership and agile/scrum practices.

We are looking for someone who has:
5+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum, team leadership, and/or project management; 
Experience in understanding the customer's business, their needs and helping to turn them into clear and detailed backlog requirements for our teams;
Experience applying Agile principles and Scrum practices;
Experience in scope management, sprint planning, and backlog refinement;
Good communication, being able to understand the audience and set the proper tone to assure a clear understanding of the work (technical or non-technical), priorities, current status, and action plans;
Good presentation skills to report status, discuss solutions and remove impediments;
Advanced and/or Fluent proficiency in English.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead Scrum meetings, such as Planning sessions, Scrum daily meetings, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
Coach the development team in agile principles and Scrum practices and ceremonies.
Analyze the established metrics and work with the teams to provide improvement and action plans;
Support problem and solution discussions (internal conflicts, product matters, communication issues) with the team, focusing exclusively on solving problems and fostering collaboration and innovation; 
Drive and support product decisions within the development team; 
Lead the team and be the reference for business understanding, priorities, work organization;
Establish a sense of purpose within the team;
Deploy, train and foster the agile principles and Scrum practices within the team;
Manage risks;
Work with the team in metrics analysis and improvement plans for each delivery cycle;

Currently able to work from home anywhere in Portugal, with occasional visits to our Lisbon office. Occasional local and regional travel opportunities.
