As a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester at CI&T,
you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software delivered to the client following the goal of zero defects in production.
As a representative of the client, you will understand all the project's business rules and validate whether the system meets all the requirements. You will also be responsible for creating manual and automated test scenarios, perform root cause analyses of defects based on metrics and work actively in reducing rates of defects by the development team.

Job Description:
You will work with CI&T top clients in Japan and Asia Pacific and your responsibilities include:
Join grooming meetings, helping the Scrum Master on understanding and detailing the biz rules of the stories selected for the sprint.
Participating pro-actively on planning meetings, giving estimates on QA tasks and helping the team on understanding the biz rules to be implemented.
Estimate, create and document Test Scenarios that are coherent with the story scope.Create and maintain automated tests suits.
Register issues found during the tests at the tool and full fill data in a way that metrics can be collect and used on team's favorSupport the team on understanding and fulfilling the Root causes for Bug's cards.
Generate test artifacts when required (project's specific documentations, test scripts, traceability matrix, test scenarios on jira, etc)
Collect quality metrics and report to the team, (by setting up QA metrics dashboards, daily metrics, control of logged hours, etc) starting discussions about enhancements and contributing to the continuous improvement development cycle.
Execute tests for every piece of software that is delivered covering all types of tests (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, smoke tests, security tests, etc)

Native or equaling Japanese language working knowledge (Written and Spoken)
Proficient EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Already living in Tokyo region, with citizenship or valid visa.

Extra points for those with experience in:  
Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies
Experience in a software testing role that involves writing/running testing scripts
Experience in system/software documentation
