CI&T Signed a Public Commitment - Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs)
March 2021 - CI&T signed a public commitment to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in favor of gender equity and women's empowerment. The WEPs are a set of seven principles established by the UN Global Pact and UN Women and are formed by international standards of work and human rights, recognizing the participation and responsibility of companies for the transformation of the work environment, the market, and society about the theme.
The 7 principles established by the Global Compact UN and UN Women are:
Establish high-level corporate leadership for equality.
Treat all women and men fairly at work without discrimination.
Ensure employee health, Well-being and safety.
Promote education and training for career advancement.
Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women.
Promote community initiatives and advocacy.
Measure and publicly report progress
In addition to other initiatives are already taken, this commitment will be a guide for the next steps in favor of building an even more diverse, inclusive culture and an environment with a more active and influential voice in their communities.
