Revolutionising Education BY AI At CI&T, in partnership with AWS, transformed the educational approachof Ânima leveraging efficiency and results. Learn more This case study arises from our partnership with Ânima, a key player in the education sector. In this project, we used generative AI (GenAI) to enhance the learning experience for students and drive operational efficiency for educators.As a partner, CI&T's role in the project was to understand the client's challenges and provide effective solutions. Leveraging our expertise in application modernisation and generative AI, we developed unique products tailored to Ânima's requirements and needs. THE MAINCHALLENGES FACED INCLUDED Increase the accessibility and scalability of the Ulife platform, Ânima's main interface with students; Ulife Copilot: Improve the learning experience through dynamic student-content interaction; Prep: Make it easier to generate questions and exams per student. THE SOLUTIONS PROVIDED WERE Ulife Reinforced Modernisation of the Ulife platform's application for increased stability and scalability, and improved maintainability. Correction with GenAI Using GenAI, the solution is able to correct questions, essays, and detect plagiarism considering the academic events history such as exams and entrance exams. Advanced Academic Chat Development of a solution based on generative AI, which allows the student to interact, converse with academic content, a subject, via chat with a result above market products, in the evaluation of the academic area. RESULTS The implementation of these solutionsproduced significant results: High Performance The Ulife platform successfully supportedpeaks of 340,000 active userswithout any downtime. Low Cost The "Prep" tool helped reduce operational costs by approximately 95% and has already resolved 4,597 questions, achieving a satisfaction score of 4.07 (based on 971 teacher evaluations with a maximum CSAT score of 5). TECHNOLOGIES USED The project leveraged Application Modernisation and Generative AI with a focuson Amazon Bedrock. These technologies were specifically chosen to address the unique challenges and requirements of the project.
