New York, Sep 7, 2021 - CI&T (NYSE: CINT), a leader in driving digital transformation for global brands, has been selected as a finalist in the 2022 Acquia Engage Awards for its work with UNICEF and First Hawaiian Bank.

Every year, the Acquia Engage Awards celebrate the very best work done using the Acquia platform and Acquia products. The awards showcase organizations that have gone above and beyond to create the world’s most ambitious digital projects.

This year’s Engage Awards drew a record number of submissions, with over 120 entries, spanning various industries and regions. Entries were submitted for a specific award in one of three categories: Doers, Builders, and Dreamers.

CI&T is proud to be a finalist in the Dreamers and Doers categories for its work with UNICEF and First Hawaiian Bank.

DREAMERS - Building A Better Tomorrow, UNICEF

Led by the United Nations Children's Fund Brazil (UNICEF), the One Million Opportunities initiative (1MiO) is focused on generating job opportunities for young Brazilians in vulnerable situations. 1MiO partnered with CI&T on a complete redesign of its platform built on Drupal 9. New features sought to address the obstacles to reaching the most vulnerable, such as offline resources, thinking about the distribution of opportunities in social organizations, school systems, and guardianship councils, among others.

DOERS - Leader of the Pack Financial Services, First Hawaiian Bank

The fact that 87% of banking customers who increased their use of digital channels during the pandemic intended to continue doing so post-shutdown, revealed a clear business imperative for First Hawaiian Bank. First Hawaiian began by implementing Acquia Cloud and Site Studio (low-code) and Acquia Personalization technologies, then turned to the financial services experts at CI&T to help maximize their new investment.

Winners will be announced at Acquia Engage in Miami on October 25–26. More info on the awards here.
