CI&T ALL: Advancing Diversity in Tech through Summer Internships

CI&T celebrates and welcomes diversity of thought, experience, and identity. We engage in a number of practices to promote inclusion of all voices and continually evaluate our employee experiences to ensure equity for all. In addition to promoting Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion internally, CI&T is also committed to leading tangible initiatives to diversify the tech industry. One of our tangible initiatives is CI&T ALL (Advancing Leaders and Learners), which is a summer internship program that trains students with identities that have historically been excluded from the technology industry.

Each summer, CI&T ALL provides 3 candidates with a remote 12-week paid internship. Interns collaborate with engineers, developers, and scrum masters to complete projects that expand their technical skills and experience. Interns also receive weekly professional development, mentorship, and the opportunity to participate in Employee Resource Groups.

What do I need to submit with my application?

  • A resume
  • A cover letter that highlights any achievements as well as future goals
  • Proof of enrollment at a 2 or 4 year college or university
  • A written response to these questions: What does community mean to you? How will you use a career in tech to help your community?

April 5-15: Applications for CI&T ALL Summer Internship Program open
April 17-21: First round of interviews
April 24 - 28: Second round of interviews
May 5: Notifications sent to all CI&T applicants via email
May 22: CI&T ALL first day
August 18: CI&T ALL last day

CI&T ALL interns earn $20 per hour.

CI&T ALL interns work 29 hours each week.

The last nine months have been some of the most challenging and rewarding moments in my life. Last summer, I made a big decision to delay my studies in order to participate in a cohort program to enhance my skills and gain valuable internship experience. Interning at CI&T has been my favorite experience so far as I feel like I have learned a lot from so many individuals here. Not only have I significantly gotten better at my IT and coding skills, but also my soft skills and learning how to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds.
