DESIGN SPRINTS Transforming ideas into lasting impact in just two weeks INTRO A burst of innovation and precision in two weeks (or less). Our cross-functional teams dive deep to tackle targeted specific challenges, generating ideas, crafting prototypes, and conducting user testing. The result? Rapid validation, early pitfall detection, and an unwavering commitment to spot-on solutions. Effective for well-defined problems, Design Sprints expedite decision-making and reduce uncertainty without significant time or resource investment. Partner with CI&T to co-create bold goals and ignite products, faster. HOW IT WORKS The Design Sprint Framework From week one to week two 1. Understand Get the band together. Align on a problem statement. Agree the desired outcome. Review the work that’s already been done. Consult the experts. 2. Diverge Get inspired. Ideate. Look around. When we’re all juiced up with ideas, sketch out prototypes. Look to come up with the widest range of solutions. 3. Converge Review all the ideas. Assess each one. Identify the strongest elements of each, rule out what won’t work. Combine the winning elements into a single storyboard. 4. Build Prototype time. The aim is the simplest possible manifestation of your storyboard to form a testable product prototype. Plan your testing. 5. Test See how people react to your prototype. Identify what has worked well and what hasn’t. Capture the feedback and set it as a baseline for taking the product forward. CRITICAL COMPONENTS Inputs and Outputs Dive into the inputs and outputs that steer the journey from ideation to realization. What are the inputs? > Key business problems> Solution constraints> Commitment from key stakeholders What are the outputs? > Problem Statement> Product Vision Statement> UX & UI Concepts> Design Prototype> User Testing Results & Summary> High-Level Product Roadmap> Initial Technical Feasibility Review> Final Presentation CLIENT STORIES The Power of Design Sprints Accelerating the redesign of a luxury auto manufacturer's most-visited webpage The Challenge Refine the webpage to help customers make the right choice when making their vehicle selection.
